Due to the continuing concern surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the office of Cockrell, Cockrell, Townsend & Ritchey, LLP will remain closed through the week of March 30, 2020. The State of Alabama Governor Kay Ivey has issued an order closing all non-essential businesses from Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. through April 17, 2020. Additionally, The City of Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox has issued a shelter in place order effective Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 10:00 P.M. through April 11, 2020. Residents of Tuscaloosa are to remain in their homes, leaving only for essential purposes. The CDC has also issued guidelines that we urge all our clients, as well as, their families and friends to follow which can be found on their website.
