Gulf Shores, AL – 13-Year-Old Killed in Bicycle vs Truck Crash on Gulf Shores Parkway
Gulf Shores, AL (May 26, 2023) – A 13-year-old boy lost his life as a result of a bicycle accident that took place on Wednesday afternoon, May 24.
At around 1:10 p.m., a 13-year-old boy was writing an electric bicycle on the sidewalk along Gulf Shores Parkway. For unknown reasons, he lost control of his bicycle and fell on the 200 block of the roadway. After falling, the boy was struck by a waste container truck on the southbound lanes.
The teen was severely hurt as a result of the accident. Despite medical efforts provided to the victim, he ended up passing away as a result of his injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
