Cottondale, AL – 8-Year-Old Fatally Struck on Spring Dr

Cottondale, AL (December 22, 2023) – An 8-year-old girl lost her life as a result of a pedestrian accident on Wednesday morning in Tuscaloosa County. Authorities were called to the site of the accident at around 5:00 p.m. on December 20.


According to reports from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, an 8-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle in the 6000 block of Spring Drive during the early evening hours. The girl was struck by the vehicle while walking inside a mobile home park. The girl was severely injured in the accident. She was rushed to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries.
