Creola, AL – Ten Car Wreck on Dolly Parton Bridge Ends in Injuries

Creola, AL (July 10, 2024) – More than a dozen people were injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday morning, July 9. The Bay Minette Fire Department and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to the scene to assist.


According to reports, ten vehicles collided on Interstate 65 at the Dolly Parton Bridge. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene and immediately shut down the northbound side of the roadway. Thirteen people were injured as a result of the accident. One woman had to be extricated from her vehicle. All of the victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
