Fatal Auto Accidents in Alabama

Fatal accidents take the lives of countless people across Alabama every year. The unfortunate truth is that many of these accidents are preventable. We continue to see acts of negligence contribute to the crashes that take place on our roads every day.

One common factor in motor vehicle accidents is speeding. When drivers are traveling above the posted speed limit, they run the risk of losing control of their vehicles and striking others. Speeding also increases the severity of injuries that result from accidents.

Another common factor in motor vehicle accidents is distractions. When drivers are not paying attention to the road ahead, either due to texting, eating, or engaging in some other action that takes their attention away from the road, they can crash into other vehicles or pedestrians nearby.

Other leading factors in vehicle collisions include failure to yield, passing stop signs, and tailgating. Any negligent or reckless action has the potential to cause a severe accident that ends in fatal injuries.

After losing a loved one in a collision, families have the ability to seek financial compensation for punitive damages from the person who is responsible. Working with a Hoover wrongful death lawyer will provide your family with the best chance of protecting your rights and getting justice.
