Limestone Co., AL (August 6, 2025) – A multi-vehicle wreck in Limestone County tragically took one life and left three others injured on Tuesday, August 5.
The collision occurred along Highway 251 near Wooley Springs Road. Authorities say three vehicles were involved in the accident just before mile marker 10. Alabama State Troopers and local emergency services responded swiftly, closing all lanes of Highway 251 while crews worked to aid the victims and investigate the crash site.
According to Limestone County Coroner Mike West, one individual died as a result of the accident. The identities of those involved have not yet been released. Three additional people sustained injuries in the crash and were transported to nearby hospitals for further medical care. Their conditions remain unknown at this time.
The closure caused significant delays for drivers along the highway, but the roadway has since reopened. Cleanup and investigative efforts concluded later in the day, and Alabama State Troopers are continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the crash.
We hope those injured in this accident recover quickly.
