Truck Accidents in Alabama

ree

Truck accidents are among the most devastating types of collisions on Alabama’s roadways. Due to the size and weight of commercial trucks, crashes often result in catastrophic injuries or fatalities, particularly for occupants of smaller vehicles. According to the Alabama Department of Transportation, hundreds of truck-related crashes occur each year across the state, many along busy routes like U.S. 43, I-65, and I-10.

These accidents can stem from a range of causes, including driver fatigue, improper maintenance, speeding, and failure to yield. In rural and semi-rural counties like Mobile, narrow lanes and heavy commercial traffic further increase the likelihood of collisions involving tractor-trailers and passenger vehicles.

Victims and their families often face significant emotional and financial burdens after a truck accident. Medical expenses, funeral costs, and loss of income can make recovery even more challenging. This is why it’s essential for families to understand their legal rights and options in the aftermath of a fatal crash.
