Huntsville, AL (September 23, 2026) – One person was injured and taken to a hospital on Wednesday, September 23, after a multi-vehicle crash on I-565 near Exit 20 in Huntsville.

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. and caused significant traffic backups, particularly in the westbound lanes near Exit 20. Drivers in both directions experienced major slowdowns.

The injured person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to HEMSI.
