Distracted Driving: Texting, talking on the phone, or even eating can have a significant impact on a driver’s ability to notice other vehicles or people nearby.
Impaired Driving: Alcohol and drugs impair a driver's judgment and coordination, which can make it impossible for a driver to maintain control of their vehicle.
Fatigue: Drowsy driving can be as dangerous as drunk driving. It can significantly affect a driver's ability to stay alert and react in time to avoid crashing into another vehicle.
Mechanical Failures: Vehicle defects or poor maintenance can lead to a driver losing control of their vehicle and crashing.
