Russell Co., AL – One Killed in Two-Vehicle Wreck on AL 26 at MM 12
Russell Co., AL (April 8, 2024) – One person lost their life in a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Russell County on Friday morning, April 5. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 8:20 a.m.
According to official reports, an automobile accident involving a 2017 Chevrolet express fanned and a 2004 Kenworth tractor-trailer occurred on Alabama 26. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking multiple lanes of the road near mile marker 12. The driver of the express fanned, identified as 25-year-old Christian A. Finney, was fatally hurt in the accident. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident is being investigated by the Alabama Law enforcement agency.
