Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Alabama

Fatal accidents are the accidents ar the cause of hundreds of deaths in Alabama every year. Unfortunately, there are many instances where pedestrians lose their lives due to these fatal collisions.

Although accidents involving pedestrians are typically preventable, we see countless innocent victims lose their lives as a result of drivers who engage in acts of negligence. One of the most common factors in fatal pedestrian accidents is when drivers fail to yield the right-of-way to pedestrians. This often happens as a result of drivers turning at intersections or when they are pulling out of driveways or parking lots.

Another common cause of fatal pedestrian accidents is when drivers run red lights or fail to stop at stop signs while passing through intersections. This puts pedestrians crossing the street in danger, as they may not see the oncoming car until it is too late.

Finally, distracted driving can also lead to fatal pedestrian accidents. This can happen when drivers are texting, talking on the phone, or even just not paying attention to their surroundings. When drivers are distracted, they may not see a pedestrian crossing the street or walking in front of their car, which can have devastating consequences.
