Tractor Driver Dead After Wreck in Escambia Co., AL

Escambia County, AL (August 9, 2026) – A tractor driver lost his life on Thursday afternoon, August 6, following a collision with a log truck along Hwy 113 in Escambia County. Emergency units responded to the scene near the 12-mile marker north of Flomaton around 3 p.m.

The farm tractor was towing a hay baler when the two vehicles collided, sending the log truck into the wood line. The driver of the tractor died from the impact.

It remains unconfirmed whether the truck driver received medical treatment for any injuries. 

State troopers are continuing their investigation into what caused the fatal crash.
