Tuscaloosa, AL – 22-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Skyland Blvd
Tuscaloosa, AL (January 12, 2024) – A 22-year-old woman from Fosters, Alabama, lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Thursday afternoon in Tuscaloosa. The Tuscaloosa Police Department was notified of the collision at around 2:00 p.m. on January 11.
Law enforcement reports indicate that the woman was walking in the area near a laundromat located on Skyland Boulevard. As the woman was walking in the 200 block of the roadway with family members, she was struck by a vehicle. The woman, who has not been identified by authorities, was severely injured. Paramedics arrived at the scene and located the victim unconscious on the roadway. She was transported by ambulance to DCH Regional Medical Center for emergency care.
