Tuscaloosa, AL – Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Train near 13th St E

Tuscaloosa, AL (February 23, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Tuscaloosa area claimed one person’s life on Tuesday afternoon, February 20. The accident was reported to officials at approximately 3:20 p.m.

 

Law enforcement reports indicate that a pedestrian was walking westbound near the train tracks located at 13th Street East and Dr. Edward Hillard Drive. For unknown reasons, the pedestrian was struck by a train. The pedestrian, identified as 49-year-old Darnell Williams of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, incurred fatal injuries.
