Anniston, AL – ALEA Confirms that Davis Turner Died in Car Crash on I-20 near Exit 179
Anniston, AL (June 23, 2023) – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to the scene of an accident that claimed the life of 20-year-old Davis Turner.
At around 3:19 a.m. on June 21, emergency crews were called to the site of a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 20.
Reports from ALEA indicate that two vehicles were involved in a crash on Interstate 20. One of the people involved in the crash, identified as Turner, stepped out of his vehicle following the crash. He was struck by a third vehicle. The incident caused delays in the area of Exit 179. Authorities rushed to the scene to provide assistance.
Turner was fatally injured in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
