Authorities Identify Three Victims in I-59 Crash in Trussville, AL

Authorities have identified the three family members who died following Tuesday morning's, July 7, tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 59 near mile marker 138 in Trussville. The victims were identified as 32-year-old Dominque Mariona Butler, 29-year-old Dquarious Marqua Butler, and their 5-year-old daughter, Nailani Butler, all of Liberty, Mississippi.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, the family was traveling in a tractor-trailer with three other immediate family members when it collided with another tractor-trailer. Dominque Butler and Nailani Butler were pronounced dead at the scene, while Dquarious Butler later died at a nearby hospital.

The conditions of the three surviving individuals have not been released.

The investigation into the fatal commercial vehicle crash remains ongoing.
