Escambia County, AL – Kati Anne Riley Loses Life in Fatal Crash on US-31 near MM 39
Escambia County, AL (August 7, 2023) – A crash just two miles north of Atmore, Alabama, in Escambia County claimed the life of a Florida woman early Sunday morning, August 6.
At around 12:00 a.m., the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency was dispatched to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on US Highway 31.
ALEA reports indicate that 39-year-old Kati Anne Riley of Cantonment, Florida, was struck by a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe on the highway near mile marker 39. The driver of the SUV, identified as 45-year-old Kenneth Elbert Harrison, remained at the scene.
Riley incurred fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
ALEA is currently investigating the accident.
