Evergreen, AL – Donald Stowe Loses Life in Car Crash on I-65

Evergreen, AL (July 26, 2023) – The Alabama State Troopers confirmed that 72-year-old Donald Stowe lost his life due to an automobile accident that occurred in the Evergreen area on Tuesday afternoon, July 25.

At around 2:10 p.m., Stowe was driving a 2021 Toyota Camry on Interstate 65. As the vehicle proceeded down the roadway, it collided with a 2017 Dodge Caravan. The impact of the crash caused the Camry to collide with a 2022 Hyundai Sonata, which barreled off the roadway and into a cable barrier.

Stowe incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident. He was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene.

The number of injured parties is not known at this time.

The police and firefighters remained on-site as they conducted an investigation into the crash and worked to clear the road. These investigations are currently ongoing.
