Lawrence County, AL – Two Injured in Truck Wreck on Highway 101 near County Rd 314
Lawrence County, AL (August 4, 2023) – The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following an automobile accident that occurred on Thursday evening, August 3.
At around 5:30 p.m., a semi-truck and a second vehicle collided on Highway 101 at the intersection of County Road 314. The incident prompted the Sheriff’s Office to close down a section of the roadway while assisting.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene to render and to the victims. The driver of the semi-truck and a passenger in the second vehicle suffered injuries that required further medical care. The victims were transported to North Alabama Medical Center for treatment.
At this time, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating.
