Birmingham, AL (May 31, 2023) – The police confirmed that 24-year-old Brayan Isacc Colindres-Turcios and 22-year-old Wilmer José Padilla lost their lives as a result of an automobile accident that took place in the Birmingham area.
Reports from authorities indicate that a collision took place on Sunday morning on University Boulevard. The accident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway near 9th Street South.
One of the vehicles involved in the accident burst into flames.
Two people involved in the crash, identified as Padilla and Colindres-Turcios, were fatally injured. The number of additional people injured is not known.
At this time, the Birmingham Police Department is investigating the crash.
