Foley, AL – Two Injured in Rear-End Crash on Foley Beach Express near Baldwin County 12

Foley, AL (June 14, 2023) – Two people were left hurt as a result of a crash that occurred on Wednesday morning, June 14.

At around 12:30 a.m., the Foley Police Department responded to the scene of a crash that occurred on Foley Beach Express.

Reports from authorities indicate that a police patrol unit occupied by two officers stopped the vehicle as a result of a traffic violation while traveling on the roadway. During the traffic stop, a second vehicle crashed into the rear of the patrol unit near Baldwin County 12.

Two officers in the vehicle suffered injuries as a result of the crash. The victims were transported to South Baldwin Hospital, where they underwent further medical care.

The second vehicle's driver, 43-year-old Braxton McMurphy, faces charges of driving under the influence.
